Lovely fabric, thanks for the chance to win some.

I got an A one time! 😉 And i love all your designs!

I've started making my own stamps and hand printing my own fabric. Very basic, will help me with a low volume quilt I want to make. As I don't like much low volume available locally.
I'm loving making my own fabric.

Mother Dragon said...

Oh I love Radiohead too!

Kathy said...

Very hot, verrry strong, black coffee powers me all day!

Maria said...

Oh I can certainly relate to 2, 3, 6, and 7! I would often spend my lunch break in my art classroom at school. Potato printing is fun! I made my own curtains that way in the 90's. I have no idea how I'd survive now without black coffee and good music. The Black Keys are touring here this month and I'm missing out! :-(

Abby said...

My final high school art project was a large batik piece...sort of similar.

kathleen said...

Black coffee every morning!!

Unknown said...

I printed with potatoes to make some fabric for Home Economics class and I also drank lots of wine at my wedding too 😊

Lovely to find out more about someone I admire. So,let me see - I was born in July (22nd not the 31st, and here in Australia it would have been freezing cold as its Winter during that part of the year for us); and I got an A once, not for Art but most probably for English which was my favourite subject.

Mel said...

I did potato stamp prints in high school, amongst other creative projects.

Elizabeth said...

I love Jack White and the Black Keys and wouldn't run without them. Not that I run that much...but I do sew :)

Did you say Radiohead, White Stripes, Racontours, Jack White, Ben Harper, Black keys and Prince? Wow, I love all of these too. Here's a secret: when my son was about 10 years old and I was playing A LOT of Prince, he would sing, "My name is Andrew, And I am funky." He was not at all funky...

I would love some fabric from Free Spirit -- I mean, who wouldn't? And it is great to see all the coverage of the MQG this month. So inspirational!

Meghan said...

I can't say I relate to any of these directly, but I have an uncle that was born on July 31st, my sister was born on July 30th and I've visited Chicago a few times so far. Thanks for the chance!

I also enjoyed wine at my wedding. ..I was just barely old enough to legally drink.

Opposites! I share none of these. Might make for an interesting conversation.

Anna Maria have both gotten A's! (Actually, I got a lot of them being an honor student in high school.) My mom always said I was born on the hottest day ever as a July baby in Iowa. Also, I love steaming hot, black, strong coffee in the morning! Let's be friends, Anna!

Catherine-Marie said...

I drink tea, have a few degrees in linguistics, got married at 31 and listen to indie female singer songwriters, but Anna Maria Horner's Good Folks collection is what got me excited about quilting seven years ago. And each and every collection she creates makes me happy.

Hm... Well, I don't drink coffee or anything warm in the morning and I live in MAINE but I do have tea almost every afternoon as a pick me up... The first song I learned to play on the guitar was The White Stripes Seven Nation Army and all those other bands help me move at Crossfit too. I watched Miranda Sings on Jerry Seinfeld's Comedians in Cars Drinking Coffee, cracked me up! Isn't it fantastic how different/same all of us beautiful women can be? One thing I know I have in common with you is the love of color and fabric ;)!!!
