The making of a ballerina! Piourette giveaway time!
Yesterday we did a photo shoot in an old southern home, not necesarily a plantation but one that reminds you that you are in the land of rocking chairs on wrap around porches. One of the fabrics shot was FreeSpirit Piourette from Verna Mosquera. We had an adorable 4 year old model who fell in love with the tutu she modeled, declaring she no longer wanted to be Taylor Swift but a model. To Miss Karsyn we bequeth the Piourette tutu and leotard! To you, our ever faithful blog followers, we want to bequeth some FreeSpirit Piourette fabric. Did you ever dream of being a ballerina? Have all your dreams come true and do you still dare to dream? Comment by midnight Sunday, December 2nd and six, random commentators will be selected to receive six, 1 yard cuts of Piourette by Verna Mosquera -- it may make your dreams come true!

Such pretty fabric! I was a figure skater in my younger days... that is close to being a ballerina I think!! But seriously, I literally still dream about skating and performing... however, I am sure that I would really hurt myself if I attempted those jumps (hehehe). Thanks for the chance!
Beautiful fabrics for anyone!
One of my daughters was a ballerina, too. Thanks for the give away.

Love this fabric! Stunning!
I was too much of a tomboy to dream of being a ballerina. However, I did have a circle skirt and a pleated skirt when I was about 9 yrs old that I loved to twirl around in.
This fabric looks so Elegant I love it. No I never had the opportunity to take ballet but one of our four daughters took ballet lessons.
Not only did I dream of one day being a ballerina, I did classes, read books and owned a proper tutu, I also choreographed my own ballet of the ugly duckling and performed it for family one year (and, horrors, my mother still has a video of it.)

Oh, yes, I did indeed want to be a ballerina when I grew up. I lived in a rural area and it was my good fortune that the new school principal's wife taught various forms of dance, gymnastics and baton. I took classes in everything for the two years she was there but ballet was my favourite. My Mom made me a beautiful satin and toile tutu and matching satin ballet slippers. Le sigh! It was dreamy. And no, I did not grow up to be a ballerina. I'm a librarian who loves to go to see the professional ballet companies when they perform here.
My granddaughter would love to be a prima ballerina! Thanks for the giveaway...Verna's fabric is lovely!
Beautiful fabric! I never really wanted to be a ballerina although I do remember trying to stand on my toes. What I wanted to do was be a tap dancer and I did eventually take a class in college which was a lot of fun.
I did ballet for years myself. However I dreamed of being an archaeologist! I studied it in college but went in a different direction after my children arrived.
When I was young I wanted to take ballet lessons but grew up in the middle of the country where there were no teachers. I still dream of doing things - it is what keeps us young
Gorgeous fabrics:)
Bizarrely, I dreamed of working in Antarctica... Never happened! My new dream is to someday get a long arm quilting machine :o)
Love the fabric - the little ballerina is so cute. I loved books & reading at an early age & wanted to be a librarian. I studied & worked hard & became one. Thanks for the chance to win.
A ballerina - no. I wasn't built that way but I was a great tomboy. However, dance in general was my dream - loved to dance! Do I still dream? You bet I do and hope I never stop. I would love to have this beautiful fabric to dream about. Thanks.
I never wanted to be a ballerina, as for dreaming, I'm still going strong so no, all of my dreams haven't come true, yet.
I never dreamed of being a ballerina but my daughter did!
These days my dreams are more realistic!!
I did dream of becoming a ballerina. Unfortionatly my family did not have much money growing up so I was not able to take any dance classes untill I was 17, taking college classes. Since then I have taked Ballet, Jazz, Hip-hop, ballroom, a little tap (almost not worth mentioning), and contemporary. Though I have not danced in over a year since I got married and moved away. I still dare to dream and I am waiting for the day when I can buy my first pain of points :)
A ballerina, yes, also an Olympic horsewoman, Pulitzer author, Nobel prize physicist, architect, pianist, model, fashion designer, oil painter, wife/mother, ... none of these dreams came true and I am happy.
Great to have a dream. Mine is to own some of that gorgeous fabric. Just so beautiful
My dream is to own this fabric. Just beautiful
I dream of PINK!! When I was young my room was pink - and the fuchsia curtains made the AIR pink! I loved it. Thanks for the giveaway.
You are never too old to dream! The fabric is gorgeous and the little ballerina is precious!

From the ages 6-12 I was a ballerina, and I still love the gear--black slippers, black leotards--but no tutus--I never did like the scratchy tutus.
These fabrics are so lovely!
I have a little granddaughter who wants to be a ballerina. I dream of being around long enough to see her achieve her dreams.
Love the color palette and Free Spirit fabrics. Dreaming is what keeps us trying to achieve more.
I never dreamed of being a ballerina but my adult daughter took lessons and was a tin solider in the Nutcracker and my granddaughter takes ballet. I would love to win these fabrics - I would make your quilt from market!
those are very pretty!! I've honestly never dreamed of being a ballerina--I was too much of a tomboy :)
What beautiful fabric. When I was younger, I dreamed of being a grandmother with my kids and their kids sitting at our holiday table. Dream realized - and it's even better than I ever imagined!
I have two left feet, but the fabric makes my heart dance!
Such pretty fabric! I have had a lot of my dreams come true. I never really wanted to be a ballerina though. Thanks for the chance to win.
