Make Your Own Catch All Cutey!
The Catch All Cutey is a great project for all of those threads that end up all over your floor! This tutorial allows you to make a little thread bag so you can cut and stuff right beside your machine! It was designed and written by Mrs. Melissa P that creates some awesome things over here.
This project uses Heather Bailey's Freshcut cottons. Along with the cotton fabrics are Flannel and Laminate. A very pretty line that also brings out the fun Spring colors that we are all excited about with the warmer weather coming!
So go on, make those Catch All Cuteys for a thread free sewing area!

Freshcut is back!
Editor's Note: It's March. March represents an awakening of all things fresh and beautiful. This month our Designer's post is from Heather Bailey featuring the relaunch of her very popular Freshcut. Enjoy, from Heather.
These bibs are easy-to-sew and they make great presents too. They're a perfect project for moms, aunties, grandmas, and daddies too.
Behind the scenes, I'm working away on a new print collection for later in the year, along with many new products to be introduced this summer. I'm not sure which is growing faster, my baby or my business—both bring me delightful, new adventures every week.
Boy does time fly. My new baby boy just reached 6-months-old—that's him up above. And the much-anticipated re-release of my popular Freshcut™ collection is shipping out to stores, now including laminated cottons and super-soft flannels. If you are one of those who has been begging for these fabrics to be produced again, Freshcut is here!
To celebrate the delicious new variety of substrates available, I put together a new free sewing pattern which works wonderfully for any combination of cotton fabrics, laminates, and flannels: the Slobber Monkey Baby Bib. We sewed up samples in every combination and our favorite bib is laminate on one side and flannel on the reverse, though the other options aren't far behind.
