ReplyDeleteAnything Tula does is awesome! I'm always intrigued by her use of animals whether they show up large as life, like the tiger in Eden, or lurk in the background, like the foxes in Fox Field. There's always great energy in her presentation and it makes working with her fabrics such a joyful experience.
ReplyDeleteNarwhals. I could totally get behind a dress of narwhals...or something piratey. I loved her octopi in Salt Water.
ReplyDeleteHow about monuments - Washington, Lincoln, Jefferson monuments in DC.
ReplyDeleteI love cat fabrics - big cats or little cats. Love her crouching tigers. Want to see more. Thanks.

ReplyDeleteI love Tula's work! I love the narrative that comes with her designs (the stories are great!) and I love all the hidden little gems that are camouflaged within the design as well. My first love was Prince Charming, my second is Salt Water....and the list goes on. For a future 'super wishlist'....hmmmm.... 1.) I love the ocean themes and would love to see Tula create another fairy tale to include Jelly Fish, more Octopuses/Octopdes and lots of Sea Turtles in the next story (pretty please)....and please more silhouette patterns(madly in love with Turtle Bay and probably have hoarded more than anyone has ever have imagined) and 2.) A 'reject theme' of all various ideas she has ever wanted to design in the medium of 'fabric' all linked by this one idea (rejection), with a dash of mad super bright 'I can see you from the moon colors'(and perhaps patterns) and peppered with her wonderful personality. Thank you!(fun contest) :)
