I have a couple of things in common with Amy. I have loved playing organized sports from childhood and played soccer into my thirties. I also trained at one point with a professional body builder and continue to this day to weight train (hooked on keeping strong and seeing what my body is capable of). I have an acute sense of smell and have been using essential oils for 20 years.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing, Amy!
I have nothing in common with Amy but I love her fabrics!!
ReplyDeleteI have a few things in common! I collect rocks, too, but from different places I've paddled my kayak to. I also have a highly sensitive smeller, and play around with mixing and making my own bath and body products. When I was younger, I was very much into fitness, but now that I'm old, I'm just satisfied with being very active. What a great give away!
ReplyDeleteI work out with a trainer and just realized that I have been doing it for five years. I don't look like a body builder but worry what I would look like if I didn't work out at all!
ReplyDeleteI love the name of this new fabric line, Bright Heart. I feel like the line not only represents Amy's bright heart, but it speaks to me as well. I have been working out with a personal trainer to make my body stronger. I like that Amy takes great care of her mind and body. It's essential to living a good, creative life!
ReplyDeleteI have a alter ego that cusses some times and I love to collect weird cool rocks.
ReplyDeleteI have absolutely nothing in common with Amy Butler except that I love, love, love her fabric collection!
ReplyDeleteFirst I love Amy Butler fabrics so would love to win this. I am a huge audiophile, collecting tons of CDs, mostly classical, jazz, broadway musicals, 1970s singer songwriter, Christmas, and of course the Beatles! (I have also made a Beatles quilt, with blocks representing 57 of their songs!) I collect bells instead of rocks, and thousands of books. I hope to become more fit - I'm now counting my steps with a FitBit zip. Maybe yoga in the future!
ReplyDeleteI am a geologist, and my name is amie... so we both like rocks and textiles...what are the odds :-) LOVE her colors and patterns, thanks for the contest.
ReplyDeleteI too find rocks irrestible and have quite a collection. I love music too, but content myself with online streaming services rather than collecting it. And I hope to have Intensati in common with Amy in the near future. It sounds great and I'm going to investigate. And of course, I love love love Amy Butler fabric!
ReplyDeleteWell, other than we both like fabrics, I don't see anything on that list. But at least we both like fabrics!
ReplyDeleteThe only thing I have in common with her is I love music. I wish I could workout like she does. An amazing, busy woman. Love her fabric collections.

Thanks for the great giveaway. What a wonderful prize.
Like Amy...I take small rocks and shells from beaches I visit. I
ReplyDeletelove Amy's fabric and collect that as well and would love to win some!
Like Amy I workout with a trainer twice a week, it keeps me quite strong and balanced for an old girl. I love fabric and color and making quilts for Quilts for Kids. I make at lease one a month so it helps me move through my stash(which doesn't seem to diminish?) I am addicted to fabric.
ReplyDeleteI don't collect rocks, but i have lots of them around my house that my kids have collected over the years! I am just getting back into sewing after a long break and would love to add to my rather sparse collection.
ReplyDeleteI have a keen sense of smell as well which is awesome for somethings but horrid when you are around smelly people:)
ReplyDeleteI am also a Daughter of the American Revolution. My family in America goes back to the 1600s. My house also dates back to the colonial times. I love carrying on the family tradition of sewing and quilt making and I love your fabrics!
ReplyDeleteI think I have more in common with Amy's alter ego than Amy herself. Lazy, tone deaf allergy sufferer here! Also Canadian :)
ReplyDeleteI like Amy Butlers fabrics but I also have a great collection of music.
ReplyDeleteSusan
I collect heart shaped rocks when I travel. I also love to visit quilt shops when I travel to find fabric I just have to add to my stash.
ReplyDeleteI am pleased to share "Daughter of the American Revolution" with Amy.
ReplyDeleteI am married to an audiophile...does that count? I just like my music with a heavy bass. I don't collect rocks...I collect Fabric when I travel. I dream of what it will become and later I can remember the great trip we had :)
