A TUTORIAL that will Get you IN the Spirit!

Hey Everyone! Here is a great mini tree skirt tutorial that will not take long at all to make, and can create quite a wonderful statement in a room. Melissa from 100BillionStars has done it again and brought us this great holiday tutorial. Mini trees are a great decoration to lighten up a room, but they never have mini tree skirts! You can be really creative with this by choosing your fabrics, mix-matching fabrics and adding embellishments such as buttons, beads and yo-yo's. Let us know what you think and stop on by Melissa's blog for more great ideas!

Long Awaited Quilt Market Photos and an AMAZING Tutorial!!

Welcome back everyone! We have been away for quite awhile and we apologize. Houston International Quilt Market was a great experience and there is great inspiration we want to share with you! Westminster did their booths a little different this year adding more inspiration for everyone to see. So look below and enjoy and let us know what your favorite things are that you see! Also, please view the tutorial at the end that is a great project for any occasion!
Here are garments that were made by BurdaStyle power sewers out of our Liberty Art Fabric.

We had HUGE stuffed animals made by Carol at Carol Zoo. She took her smaller animal patterns (sold on her website) and blew them up into larger animals that went up to 5 feet in size. They were featuring our new designer, Eleanor Grosch with the collection Zoo Menagerie that comes in three different substrates: cotton, flannel and micro fleece.

Kathy Davis had a vignette displaying her new collection Blossoming.

Featured in another vignette was our amazing solids and basics program! This is a great new program that offers solid and basic prints that are great to incorporate in to any of our designer's collections. There is always a color to match! Browse the groups here!

To the left of this photo is George Mendoza's work featuring an original painting that the Ellen Noel Art Museum let us borrow for the show.

Melissa from 100 Billion Stars made this amazing rug that she created from strips of fabric. She also made a great TUTORIAL that explains how to make these for any occasion! So check out the tutorial and enjoy! You can make them in to just a place mat size for your table, or keep going and make a rug!
